We are planting gardens! Lots of them! This is the strategy God has called us to. After sixty years of secular humanism dominating our educational and cultural institutions in the West, there is nothing more rewarding, more thrilling, more meaningful, more effective in ministry today than to plant what we call “gardens in the ashes.”
Following the 2024 presidential election, we are seeing the greatest opportunity for a biblical reformation in more than a century! According to His astounding, manifold mercies, God is opening up for us more islands of freedom for family discipleship and windows of opportunity for spiritual revival. Twenty million Christian parents in America have the freedom to homeschool instead of sending their kids into transgendered schools and humanist institutions!
Abandoning the Christian foundations of our nation has been a total disaster. The moral chaos, the social stresses, the political and cultural divisions, and the economic malaise cannot ultimately be fixed politically. We must restore biblical foundations through Christian discipleship in the family and the church.
So, in the midst of the uncertainty around us, our mission is clear: We will disciple on. No matter what happens, Generations is committed to the mission of discipling the nations beginning with the family—one family at a time.
Speaking at the Illinois and South Africa homeschool conferences
By God’s grace, as I’ve traveled across the country with this message, we’re hearing again and again that the message is bearing fruit. One mom told me she was converted to Christ the year after attending one of our conferences. Another mom told me she and her husband were reluctant to take her kids out of public schools until they heard our first talk at a family discipleship conference held in 2023. Now they are lifelong homeschoolers, and coordinators of homeschool conferences in a major city in South Africa. Another mom told me she has waited ten years for something like our curriculum, and she recommends it to all of her friends.
We could relate literally hundreds, if not thousands, of stories from families who report their home was transformed by the message provided through Generations. To tell the truth, I’ve been a little overwhelmed and even blown away by the positive reports. I think it is safe to say that we have met a longstanding demand, scratched a deep itch, and filled a crying need for the Christian family in the 21st century.
As we’ve ministered internationally this year, we’ve seen that this message is just as relevant for South Africa, Brazil, England, New Zealand and Ukraine as it is for the United States. We are investing deeply in several of these nations, sponsoring some of the first national Christian homeschooling conferences to help seed a distinctly Christian homeschooling movement. What better opportunity for taking Jesus’s discipleship message to the nations than to equip pastors, Christian leaders, and ordinary dads and moms to family-based discipleship?

Think about it…what could be better than this message and mission?
…Planting blessed, beautiful, blossoming gardens in the ashes by the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the message we are committed to.
And that’s why, at its very essence, the Generations ministry is a prayer.
It’s a heart cry for the Holy Spirit to fulfill the promise contained in Malachi 4:6 in every family around the world. When the hearts of the fathers turn to the children and children to the fathers in a generational faith—the Lord staves off the curse upon the world. Then, faith will flourish, churches will prosper, and kingdom leverage develops worldwide. That is the vision, plain and simple.
Our team and ministry partners working hard to meet the needs of homeschool families around the world
Generations provides mission-critical resources to many Christian families around the world who are desperately in need of a God-centered approach. But our primary interest is to bring a message of “truth and relationships to a lost and lonely world”—to plant seeds for family reformation and to encourage family discipleship.
This year, we spoke at 36 conferences in the US, Ukraine, the UK, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico and New Zealand. This was the second year we held back-to-back father/son retreats to satisfy the demand. We hosted our 17th and 18th Homeschool Summits since 2017, including a brand-new event called the “Relational Lifestyle Summit,” presenting a vision for biblical family culture and economy. Our daily radio and news programs were downloaded over 900,000 times this year and we saw a huge attendance increase at our live Q&A webcasts, which provide practical help to homeschool dads and moms all over the world.
Thanks to our supporters, we’ve been able to hire three new full-time team members and several other part-time staff to support the ever-growing worldwide audience coming on board with the vision. By God’s grace, our expanded team was able to handle the most ambitious outreach and resource development schedule ever, growing the number of North American families receiving our ministry resources by 28% year to date. Our international outreach increased by 300% this year as well.
But all of this is a drop in the bucket compared to the white-for-harvest fields that are before us, brothers and sisters. And the need is for far more than a Sunday school ministry. We must equip families to engage in a seven-days-a-week discipleship program to raise their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
We are burdened to meet this need so that twenty years from now, 100 million families around the world will experience the joy of multi-generational faithfulness as they engage this transformational vision.
We believe that God is taking this ministry to the next level. But we can’t seize this opportunity without an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and your support.
To execute on this vision and continue the work we have started, we are praying for an overwhelming increase in donations by December 31. Any amount, large or small, is critical to this goal.
Here’s how you can partner with us:

Most importantly, we need your prayers. We are quite aware that we are taking on spiritual strongholds and powers that hate what we are doing. By going against the media, popular culture, and secular education, we have targeted the “belly of the beast.” Would you stand with us through your prayers and support?
Yours for Christ and His Kingdom,
