Why can’t we find Jesus in Mr. Rogers’ neighborhood? And whatever happened to family and church? Why is the neighborhood and the community more important than the family and church? What’s the worldview children get out of Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood? We analyze the basic ethical system and worldview of Mr. Rogers, for families that feed their children a steady stream of Christ-less television programs. We also spend a few minutes on Fred Rogers’ deathbed confession.
About Your Host, Kevin Swanson
Homeschooled himself in the 1960's and 70's, Kevin Swanson and his wife, Brenda, are now homeschooling their five children. Since graduating from his homeschool and then serving as student body president of a large west coast university, he has gone on to other leadership positions in corporate management, church, and other non-profits.
