How do movies soaking in a nihilist worldview with ample quantities of profanities and "f-words" gain so many recommendations from Christian pastors and Christian movie reviewers? Coming highly recommended by a Christian reviewer, Mr. Nathan Robertson, are the homosexual film "Moonlight," "Mad Max-Fury Road," and "Pig"—all R-rated films. It doesn't take a genius to turn just about any movie scene or symbol into an analogy for Jesus and His redemption. How is this movie Pig, "one of the most subtly theological films of the year?" Analyzing the actual movie screenplay, we sum up the Mad Max and Pig worldviews, and then challenge the whole Christian entertainment scene to discernment.
Correction: The program mistakenly attributed a Top 50 list to a Mr. Wiley, and should have attributed the Top 50 list to another reviewer, Mr. Nathan Robertson.
