So, the feds used Christian leaders like N.T. Wright, Ed Stetzer, the Gospel Coalition's Joe Carter, Pastors Tim Keller, Rick Warren, and Russell Moore to push the party line on Covid vaccines and protocol. Pastor John MacArthur was out of the fellowship, and these other guys crowded in. So what is the lure of statism for these Christian leaders, that they would snuggle up so close with the likes of Dr. Francis Collins? The rise of statism really is testing the hearts. We also consider the question of strategy. While we don't want to argue over strategy, what is the wise approach to addressing the rise of statism?
